Topical Edge Performance & Recovery Lotion Gets A New Formula And Multi-Application Tube

Topical Edge is excited to announce a second-generation formula of Performance & Recovery Lotion that improves what is already the one and only sodium bicarbonate sports lotion proven to increase performance and reduce recovery time. Additionally, it is now available in a multi-application tube that cuts down on packaging waste and significantly reduces the cost per application.

Thanks to the updated formula, PR Lotion takes a big leap forward in the aesthetics and feel, allowing it be less oily on the skin and much more like a true lotion while still delivering acid-buffering sodium bicarbonate through the skin and into the muscle. PR Lotion was proven to reduce perceived exertion at the same effort, in addition to reducing DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) by 53% in a clinical trial conducted at San Diego State University. That trial was backed up by a study done by Source Endurance showing subjects using PR Lotion increased the number of high intensity intervals by more than 20% before failure when using PR Lotion versus placebo.

Sodium bicarbonate, or more commonly known as baking soda, is a mineral that’s naturally found in the body that helps regulate PH levels. The benefits of sodium bicarbonate supplementation for athletes are well-understood and documented, yet the problem has always been the means of delivery. When ingested at sufficient levels, it wreaks havoc on your digestive system, but by bypassing the stomach with PR Lotion’s patented transdermal delivery system, the benefits can be had without any side effects.

This new formula will now be available in a 15-application tube that reduces the cost per application by 40% compared to the individual packets, allowing PR Lotion to not just be a benefit on event day, but also a regular part of your training regimen. Faster recovery and a higher quality workout means a performance increase when you really need it.
